Erinvale Golf Club - Host of the 1996 World Cup of Golf, this is an estate golf course of two distinctly different nines.

Fancourt’s Montagu - A modern golf course with a mature parkland feel, considered one of the best conditioned golf courses in South Africa.
Fancourt Outeniqua - Named after the mountain range that runs along the Garden Route coast, this resort golf course has aesthetically pleasing design and features such as rivulets and colorful gardens.
The Links at Fancourt - A man-made links course, quite possibly the most difficult golf course in South Africa. It certainly stumped many of the worlds finest players at the 2003 Presidents Cup.

KWAZULU NATAL and DURBAN:
Durban, where east meets west in this cosmopolitan holiday city, is set in sugar country on the edge of a lush subtropical coast. The Golf Coast stretches from north to south and is dotted with small cluster holiday homes, hotels and luxury apartments, all set besides river mouth lagoons and overlooking the warm Indian Ocean.

The subtropical climate is conducive to lush golf courses and the high rainfall ensures that Durban and the Kwazulu Natal coast offers excellent golf all year round. Water and long rough play a major part in most golf courses in the region. Here you have a choice between private golf courses and resort courses which each offer their own distinct feature which tells them apart.

Royal Durban Golf Course - The Royal Durban Golf Course is on flat golfing terrain but is still an interesting Championship course.

GREATER KRUGER PARK AREA:
The Kruger Park area is unique to South Africa, offering golfers the opportunity of sharing the golf course with wild animals. Hans Merensky Golf Course - No other golf course in South Africa offers the attraction of having your game watched by baboons, antelope, giraffe and warthog which wonder onto the golfing green.
Leopard Creek – One of South Africa’s most famous courses and host to numerous professional events, book well in advance as there are limited non-member tee times.
Nelspruit - The golf course is located in the Kruger Park area and has undergone numerous changes in the last couple of years resulting in an excellent championship golf course.
Sabi River Golf Course - A South African safari and a golfing green! Look for the crocodiles and hippos which are present in the large on course dam on this challenging and scenic golf course.

JOHANNESBURG/SUN CITY:
Johannesburg is a fast paced city where the country's radical political and social transformation is very evident. There are several excellent golf courses in and around Johannesburg.

Sun City
For a relaxing getaway from bustling city life or an entertainment mecca offering glitz and glamour, Sun City has it all - a network of hotels, golf courses, swimming pools, casinos, entertainment venues and restaurants located two hours drive north of Johannesburg.

Every round of golf at Sun City is exquisite and you are sure to encounter a number of baboons, warthog and antelope on the course. Be sure to take a camera, as the finishing holes will test your shot making. After hitting a par on the 18th, imagine the crowds that surround these greens each year, cheering for you as they would Ernie Els, Tiger Woods or Vijay Singh.

Gary Player Country Club - Arguably South Africa’s most famous golf course courtesy of its status as host of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Lost City Golf Course - The golf course was carved out of undulating and rocky terrain.

Houghton Golf Course - Host to numerous SA golfing opens this city golf course is unrivalled for its course conditioning and excellence in the Guateng area.
Pecanwood Golf Course - Pecanwood golf course is a flat, well-bunkered layout within a residential estate on the banks of the Hartbeespoort dam, a popular Gauteng holiday destination.
Royal Johannesburg - There are two golf courses, the east and west course which are both par 72 championship golf courses.
Wanderers Golf Course - This classic parklands golf course is situated a short distance from Sandton and has been the venue for numerous major golfing tournaments.
